Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNS)

Empowering future nurses with knowledge, empathy, and excellence to promote holistic well-being and inclusive healthcare.

The Kennedy School of Nursing, operating under Zoland Health Department and Zoland Higher Education, is committed to shaping independent, skilled, and compassionate nurses who improve health outcomes for individuals and communities. Graduates earn a Bachelor of Nursing degree, prepared to lead and transform the nursing profession in the community.

About the School

Students who have passed matriculation and completed the Basic Education Completion Assessment (BECA), and are between the ages of 16 and 29, are eligible to apply to the nursing school. Preference will be given to those who specialized in Science subjects during high school however, students without a science background but with a strong passion for nursing are also welcome to apply.

Eligibility

  • Duration: 3 months Pre-requisite and 3 years (+ 1 year for research and term paper)

  • The prerequisite course is 3 months long and provides a foundation in English, Chemistry, Physics, and basic medical terminology for all students.

  • The curriculum was prepared in line with the standardization of the Myanmar Nursing Bachelor Program and ASEAN.

About the Program

Course Delivery

The program is designed to be delivered through a hybrid learning approach, in which the subject experts develop the modules and the faculty facilitator leads by guiding group activities and assessing student learning.

Diploma in Social Science

This Diploma Program is delivered by Zoland Social Studies Institute (ZSSI), National University of Zoland (NUZ) in collaboration with the University of Mandalay Interim Council (UMIC).

Students who passed matriculation exam

  • Students who passed GED/IGCSE

  • Students who passed highest level of high school in Ethnic schools

  • Students who have not finished their Bachelor degree by any specialization

  • Students under 40 years of age who have finished any bachelor programme

Eligible students

  • To manage functional or basic needs to join online classes such as a working internet and workable devices will be the applicant's responsibility.

Prerequisite

  • The sole diploma will be online with special arrangements for the time being until further notice.

Delivery

Commitment

  • The program requires a mandatory total commitment to apply and to join courses and to accomplish the academic duties including the required terms and conditions and fulfill till the end of the courses.

Language

  • The course content will be English while the medium of instruction will be Burmese.

Attendance Policy

  • The diploma requires 80% of attendance per course.

Completion, Certification, and Accreditation

  • The credits, the compositions, and the grading for each course - please refer to the respective course mechanics. (The course mechanics will be distributed to the successful applicants).
